live'spawn

This work utilizes Max/MSP and Unreal Engine as software for real-time electronic sound and real-time image rendering. External MIDI controller signals are inputted into Max/MSP for triggering sound in real time and, through volume analysis, send signals to Unreal Engine for camera movement, switching, or object launching within the imagery.
In English, "live" refers to live performances or living in a specific place, while "spawn" means to produce offspring or cause something to generate — also a program module in Unreal Engine for object spawning. "Pawn" refers to a chess piece or something manipulable, also a program module in Unreal Engine for manipulable objects.
Combining these concepts with the "Brain in a Vat" thought experiment — placing the brain in a solution that maintains its biological activity, allowing it to keep normal consciousness without the body, and using a supercomputer to simulate the world through radio waves projected onto the brain — the intention is to reflect humanity's skepticism towards technology and the known world.
